Firstly thank you for taking time out of your day and visiting our page.

Time is taken for granted and you can’t get it back, it drags on or it’s gone in a blink of an eye.

We create precious memories and hold on to them tight, and sometimes we are lucky enough to capture those on cameras, and look back on them with smiles.

Here at 88 Media Productions I value and respect those memories, and understand how important they are. That is why I have decided to help families and individuals preserve, keep safe and display these past events that have been captured on film or digital devices.

 

I offer services that I believe to be important and relevant in this day and age.

I first got the idea for 88 Media Productions when a family reached out to me to create a memorial photo tribute for their father’s funeral service. After seeing the families mixed outpouring of happiness, sadness and smiles, I realized how important this is to not only the family but to friends and even the people around who didn’t know him that well. I decided that day, then and there, I wanted to create high quality tributes for families, to show the world how amazing their loved one truly was, and how special those memories really are.

 

After a little while of creating these tributes, I realized that there is a lot of people that have photo albums containing hundreds if not thousands of important irreplaceable photos, and while these are beautiful and engaging to look through there is of course a risk that they become damaged or lost.  I decided that I would offer the service to digitize these physical memories and allow the person to have a backup of them for safe keeping and peace of mind.

 

This of course then turned into delving into my old VHS tapes that I had as a child, bringing back memories of fast forwarding, rewinding, and the push and clunk sounds as the tape was loaded into the VCR player. I thought, why stop with photos when I can help people take their old films and video footage and store them in a digital format, not only as a backup, but in a way that will allow them to watch and share these memories in an easier and more accessible way.

 

The final offering (for now) harkens back to the joys I had editing photos at university, where I majored in photography and minored in film and video. I enjoyed learning new techniques in editing photos and retouching and restoring old photos. This allowed then for photos to be printed on high quality paper and hung on walls and displayed in frames.

 

I offer services which I believe is important and meaningful to families and individuals. My work ethos is I only deliver to a client what I would want to receive myself, I want to cater to individuals and give them what they want and deserve.
